10 note cards with blank inside and 10 envelopes. Perfect for Christmas cards or anytime. This icon is a copy of the icon of the Trinity, painted around 1410 by Andrei Rublev, sometimes called the icon of the Old Testament Trinity. It depicts the three angels who visited Abraham at the Oaks of Mamre, and is based upon an earlier icon known as the "Hospitality of Abraham" (illustrating Genesis 18).
Rublev removed the figures of Abraham and Sarah from the scene, and through a subtle use of composition and symbolism changed the subject to focus on the Mystery of the Trinity.
The original is currently in the Tretyakov Gallery Moscow.
