Caroline Furlong works primarily in oil, egg tempera and acrylic. Her work is represented in collections nationwide.  She trained under noted Texas artist Ethel Crittenden. After years of representational painting, Furlong began creating symbolic, highly evocative works, which lead her to the rich and spiritual language of iconography.
